Primaries 3-7 celebrated World Book Day by visiting Waterstones and being allowed to select a book for free. We did our Daily Mile and then took a trip to Foyleside to visit the bookshop. Waterstones were very accommodating and allowed us to have a look at all the different books in the shop before choosing ours.
After we selected our books we had them scanned and took them back to school.
Primary 5, 6 and 7 created their “ideal” book cover and blurb for a story that they would like to read. Taylor was selected as our winner by Mrs Graydon who said that she would loved it if Taylors book was real as it sounded like a super story.
