Today George from Ulster Badminton came to visit us in Primary 5, 6, and 7. Over the next few months we have sessions with him teaching us how to play the game.
We started today by learning how to hold the racket and then he taught us how to hit a low forehand and backhand shot.
We played some games, in 1 we had to hit the shuttle as hard as possible, in the other we had to return a shot that George played to us.
We can’t wait to keep practising our skills with him over the next 8 sessions we have together and look forward to playing some matches later in the programme.
