To start our transport topic, 'Off We Go', Primary 1 and 2 visited our local Bus Station.
We went into the ticket office to see where to buy tickets and how much they would be. Then the bus inspector very kindly let us on the 212 double decker Goldliner that goes to Belfast. We were all suprised at how big the bus was! We talked to the inspector and bus driver all about staying safe on the bus. While we all wanted to stay on the bus to Belfast, we decided it was best to come back to school. We now know all the things that we need in our bus station role play and are excited to go on our very own 212 bus.
On our way back to school, we passed a musician playing the cello. We stopped and he played a song for us that we all knew and could dance along to. He was so impressed with William's dancing that he let him have a go playing the cello!
