With the safety and well-being of our whole school community as our top priority, we have made the decision to close the school tomorrow (Thursday, 9th January). The ongoing adverse weather conditions, freezing temperatures and limited gritting have combined to make it unsafe to travel.
This decision has been made for the safety of our children, their parents who bring them to school and the staff. Please take care of yourselves and enjoy the extra time at home. We will be looking forward to welcoming everyone back Friday, all being well.
Sorry for the late message, however, I feel that it is best to make this decision now rather than waiting until the morning and having parents, the school bus and staff taking unnecessary risks travelling to school.
