Today we were continuing our work for Good Relations week.
Primary 5, 6 and 7 went out litter picking with the Bogside and Brandywell Health Forum. We looked around our local area and made sure to pick up as much as we could. After we had cleaned around the Fountain, we decided that we would walk over to Bishop Street and do a little tidy up there as well. We wanted to make sure that the area was clean for our friends in Long Tower PS as well.
We talked about how easy it is to keep our city tidy by using the bins that the council provide or by putting our rubbish in our pockets and taking it home. Making sure that if it can be recycled that it goes in our blue bins.
We hope that the wider community will see our hard work and try to help us keep our wonderful area as clean as possible.
