Yesterday we said “goodbye” to our Primary 7 class with a beautiful assembly. The children, their parents and family and the rest of the school joined us to celebrate them.
We gave out some special awards to the children which we though reflected their personality and awarded some academic prizes as well. Taylor and Alistair won the Gallagher Bequest and Taylor also won the Literacy Prize. The children were also presented with their school tie for next year.
It was also time for us to present Mrs Arthur with some special gifts from the staff and pupils on her retirement. She said a few words which brought a tear to our eyes. Gifts were given to Miss Colhoun and Pauline as they are leaving us at the end of the year.
There were lots of tears from all our leavers and we wish everyone the best of luck as they move on with their next adventure.
