Today we had a very exciting day in Primary 1 and 2 as we went on an adventure to St Columbs Park with our friends from Long Tower, as part of our outdoor learning.
We started with a nature walk through the park, looking at the different tress, leaves and signs of Autumn. We all were excited to see some squirrels climbing up the trees!
We then became artists and drew pictures on our clipboards of the trees and leaves that we could see.
Next, we made our way into the 'Secret Garden' and we had a leaf hunt. We had to find leaves that matched the colours on our colour strips.
Then we had fun with our friends playing in the play park. We then walked back to the Foyle Arena and were ready to enjoy our lunch together.
All the boys and girls were so well behaved and we had a brilliant day together. We are excited to have our friends from Long Tower visit our school next week!
