A huge ‘Thank You’ to Rev. John Montgomery who visited Primary 6/7 on Friday morning as part of their continued work with Scripture Union.
John is currently working in Carlisle Road Methodist Church and the Methodist Churches presented each of our classes with a gift.
Each gift is wrapped 25 times to represent the days leading up to Christmas. John told us that just like an Advent Calendar, we are allowed to unwrap the present once for each day in December until Christmas Day.
Inside is a treat for the person who unwraps the present as well as a verse from the Bible and a gift, which each class gets to build as we unwrap our present.
We look forward to opening each layer and building our gift as we go.
