Today, Primaries 4-7 visited the Guildhall as part of the Royal British Legion's Act of Remembrance.
A huge 'thank you' to Mr Ryan McCready for inviting us all to be part of the celebration as the Remembrance Wreath toured the city before moving on. Mr McCready took the time to explain the wreath to the children and help us understand the importance of why we remember. We were joined by several veterans and the mayor.
The children also had the opportunity to visit the Plantation of Ulster exhibition which is currently taking place in the Guildhall. It was great to see some of the history of our city and we even tried to work out where our school might be on an old map!
