This week in Nursery we introduced the children to Yoga. We were super proud that they were all able to carry their own mat to the hall, and take off and put on their own shoes. The children focused well on the screen and attempted to copy all the moves. We look forward to watching their progress throughout the coming weeks! We have also been doing a weekly Nurture in Five session which the children participate well in. This involves: 1. Warm Up 2. Stretch Out 3. Hands On 4. Breathe In 5. Wind Down Have a look at the photos taken this week which shows the children driving a car to warm up, stretching in different ways to be a boat, a surfboard, a sailboat and a motorbike. You will also be able to see how we are able to massage our friends when we sit closely in a circle. This week we did our massage to the rhyme 'Row Row Row your Boat'. Why not ask your child to give you a back massage! To finish our session we all lie down and listen to a short story to relax our mind.
