March in Rainbow Room
March started in Rainbow Room with Pancake Tuesday. Mrs Spence and her little helpers showed us how to make pancakes and then we got to eat some.
We have been working hard in Numeracy and Literacy finding missing numbers, estimating and calculating length, weight and capacity, and learning about minibeasts.
For World Book Day we made our own Stick Man for snack time.
We have had some new faces starting in Rainbow Room and are very proud of the progress made by the P3 children who are reintegrating back into the base class fulltime.
Penny Wars have been great fun. Thank you for the all the silver and bronze coins and for the donations for Ukraine during our blue and yellow day.
The boys and girls have enjoyed sensory play activities this month, especially trying to pass the feather. Using the Mega Blocks and the Large Lego we have made some brilliant models. We have been searching for treasure in the sand and learning about plants and working with money in our role play Garden Centre.
Billy was fantastic this month achieving his 200 keywords and reading us all a story. Jacob had his 6th Birthday and enjoyed his chocolate roll cake. We all having beeen learning to help each other by tidying up and washing and drying the dishes after snack time.
Due to the good weather we have been able to get outside more and enjoy all the playground equipment.
