This month in Rainbow Room we have been learning to play different games and completing jigsaw puzzles with 50 pieces. Our topic has been Winter. We painted polar bear faces using forks. Our role play was an igloo and we enjoyed pretending to sleigh and dressing up in warm clothes. We all enjoyed using shaving foam to make patterns in and writing our names. Mrs Beveridge made ice cubes with things frozen in them and we had to find ways of getting them out. We have been working on CVC words, ordering and matching sentences, finding proper nouns, making 10 and 20 and adding and subtracting 1 and 2 digit numbers. Rainbow Room children have shown great teamwork this month washing, drying and putting away our snacktime plates, cups and cutlery. We have had great fun with the musical instruments, looking at low and high sounds and fast and slow. Using white chocolate and different sweets we made melted snowmen. These were really yummy!
