Today we welcomed Mrs Robinson’s family into school for an assembly where they received a cheque to donate towards the charity Brain Tumour Research. As well as receiving our donation, the family also were present in the unveiling of our ‘Buddy Bench’ for school in memory of Mrs Robinson. This will allow children who need a little space to have a comfortable place where they can sit with a friend and talk about any problems they might have.
When we totalled up all the sponsor money that was collected, it was a grand total of £2,139.45. A huge thanks to all the parents and friends of the school who helped with this.
Nicola’s family have said that this will be added to their Just Giving page total which is over £20,000 at the moment. They have said that they will pass on the details of the page to school and when we have all the information, we will make sure to share it, should anyone wish to donate themselves.
