Primary 3 and 4 had a fun visit to the Art Gallery on Monday. They got to look around and find out all about their current exhibition. It is all artwork from young, up and coming artists from Northern Ireland. Their artwork is based on current issues in Northern Ireland. The children really enjoyed looking around the different exhibits in their groups. They were very inquisitive and asked lots of questions, which was great!
After their walk around the gallery, they completed a piece of artwork in their groups. They each had a current topic which they had to discuss then draw a picture to illustrate it. They then brought all their work together and created a collage. It looked super and the children really enjoyed putting it all together!
