All our hard work has finally paid off.
Today, Primary 6/7 visited The Playhouse. When we were there, we got to meet up with the other schools who were involved in the St Columba production that we had taken part in before Christmas.
At the time, COVID restrictions were in place so we had to work separately but collaboratively. That meant that we practiced our parts in school and then were recorded them at Echo Echo. We were recorded by students from NWIFHE and at The Playhouse and today we finally got to see all our hard work and theirs put together.
We went to the main theatre where the production was played on the big screen. It was amazing to see the finished piece of work.
After we watched the film, we went back downstairs and got to enjoy some much deserved ice cream.
We would like to thank everyone who was involved with the production; Wendy, Catherine, Miss Victoria, Mrs Beveridge and all the media students from NWIFHE. Unfortunately, we were unable to work with Mary Murphy this year but as a key part of the Columba project and writer of the play, we would like to thank her for all her efforts as well.
