In our play so far this month, we have been using items that we can find on an autumn walk, such as conkers, pine cones and acorns. We made faces with them in the dough and at temporary art, we used them for threading and we cooked them for dinner in our Role Play kitchen both inside and outside. On our painting tuff spot we painted the autumn items as well as rolling them around to create a painting using autumn colours - red, yellow, orange and brown. We also had fun making hedgehogs and autumn trees in our creative area. What a busy month so far!
