Today marks a happy and sad day for everyone at Fountain Primary School.
We were all super happy because Lindsay from PATHS brought along Twiggle the Turtle to a whole school assembly. We talked all about how people are different and that’s ok! Not everyone has the same hair colour, the same shoes, not everyone supports the same teams or likes the same games. Lindsay pointed out to us that that’s ok and everyone is different, unique and special in their own way!
Unfortunately, we had some bad news as well. Today we found out that Lindsay will no longer be our PATHS coach from next year. We will all miss her so much and wish her all the best at her next school. Lindsay has helped us so much over the last few years, especially introducing PATHS into our school, training the staff and being a friendly face to all of our children.
We look forward to meeting our new coach in September as we continue our PATHS journey.
