We were incredibly lucky to have a little morning out of school today. Everyone from P1-7 walked down to New Gate Arts and Culture Centre to celebrate all the hard work they have been putting into Highland Dance and flute. Organised by Andrew from the Londonderry Bands Forum and Emily from Bready Ulster Scots, it was a chance for our children to perform in front of an audience as well as receive recognition for the work they have done.
Georgina presented the awards to the dancers and Derek was there to hand over the certificates to our flute players.
It was a special morning for everyone involved and our children showed how talented and brave they are to get up in front of such a big audience.
