Yesterday we worked with Sharron from Young Enterprise on the ‘Our World’ project.
We learnt all about the products that are exported and imported. We checked where our belongings were made and found that most things were made in China or Vietnam.
Next we looked at different types of food and how far they had travelled to get to us. Sharron let us complete some puzzles which were really fun, we worked in teams to complete them.
The final part of our day was spent playing the Trading Game. We had to make money by cutting and colouring shapes then selling them. Whoever had the most money at the end, in the bank, was the winner. We had to work together, giving everyone different jobs to be as efficient as we could.
We had so much fun with Sharron and can’t wait to see her again!
